The Haunting Swimsuit Season is Near – Be Prepared
Well folks, it is that time of year again. It is time to start thinking about getting your body ready for summer, because swimsuit season is right around the corner. There is still plenty of time to get ready, but you need to start now or very soon. I am going to give you some great ideas to get your body in shape for the summer. I will tell you about some fun outdoor activities as well as some indoor workouts that will get you an amazing body for summer. Lastly, before I get into it you have to believe that getting the body you want is possible. Make the decision now that you are going to work hard and exercise the necessary amount to get that body. You will thank yourself and have tons more confidence in yourself.
Okay here we go. It is finally spring which means you should be able to start getting outdoors more to exercise. For those of you that live in hot areas all year round, well you are just lucky, for the rest of us there is this season called winter that stops us from working out outside for a few months. Once spring rolls around it is like new motivation to get out and exercise. Use that motivation and excitement to get outside and get your body to shape. I love going on hikes and mountain biking. In fact I just did a hike with some friends and at the top of the point that we climbed had about 8 inches of snow still. My two friends had shorts and trail shoes on. I had pants and boots on; I had learned that lesson the year before. Look up on the internet some great trails around your area and go on a hike. If you have never done that before I promise that you will love it. Getting out in nature is amazing. Plus hiking is one of the best exercises for your legs. Some experts say hiking is better than running, because it is like you are walking upstairs. If you have a road or a mountain bike now is the time to get out and start riding. Biking is one of the best all around exercises there is, plus it is one of the easiest exercises on your joints.
If you prefer to stay indoors and exercise then I have a money saving tip for you while we are in this recession. Try picking up an at home workout video. These videos are typically designed for 3 months of working out, perfect to get you in summer shape. The video you choose will probably be around $50 to $100 or so, but that is typically less than 2 months of a gym membership. It is well worth it to cancel your gym membership and try an in home workout video. It is like having your own personal trainer in your house. I personally have done the Chalean Extreme workout video. You can try that or find one of many all over the internet. A lot of people really liked Tae-bo, although that is pretty old now, there are some great pilates videos for the ladies. The important thing is that you take action now.
